Owner Tony Cho had us fully restore his 1975 Honda CB 400F motorcycle. After the build, we entered it in the Michigan International Motorcycle Show in Novi, Mi where it took first place in its class! Thanks for your support!
Dave also conducted a suspension set-up seminar for students right after lunch. Dave and his team are experts at setting up a rider's suspension for his or her weight and skill level. Racers of all skill levels including pros use Tech-Care Racing Suspension set ups.
If you want to keep riding after the snow falls here in Michigan, book a trip with Dave to ride at his favorite off-road motorsports park in Florida, the state owned Croom Motorcycle Area.Croom offers thousands of acres of distinctive riding including single track; one-way trails, fossil pits, trials courses, and a new motorsports track.
Fly into Tampa, Florida. Your bike will already be at Croom. Ride for a week or however long you want to stay. Camp inside the park with Dave providing the lodging or stay at a motel outside the park. Fly home after your riding vacation. Your bike will be returned to Michigan. Call Dave at (248) 666-4651 and he'll set up a riding adventure vacation for you. Holiday weekends are discouraged.

Justin Barcia Racing Privateer Honda in 2017 Monster Cup
Well, I have an option or two that I will be looking into for 2018, but for now I am extremely excited to announce my plans for the Monster Energy Cup.
On October 14th I will be riding a privateer Honda. Details are still getting worked out, but so far I am excited and wanted to share the news with the Moto community.
I am extremely appreciative and grateful for all the support that is going into this project and I could not do it without these awesome companies & people:
Alpinestars, Scott, Arai, Monster Energy, Morgantown Powersports for supplying practice bikes, Levi Kilbarger/BONZI, Tim Bennet of TCD Racing for building & prepping the race bike, Twisted Development Motors, Yoshimura, Brian Fleck at Dunlop
Feld Motorsports, The Home Team of Mom & Dad, Amber & Dr. Steve Navarro for all the hard work, phone calls and behind the scenes hustle.
See ya’ll soon, JB5
Mike Madden testing the 2016 Honda CRF450 set up. We can set your bike up for 140 to 240 pound riders. Give us a call to schedule your suspension set-up.
Dave finished 15th in the first moto and 16th in the 2nd moto of the 60+ Expert Class for 16th overall.
Jim Vens (#178 below) finished 17th in Moto 1 and 4th in Moto 2 of the 55+ Intermediate Class for 10th overall. Nice recovery from the first Moto, Jim!
Don't worry about the need to check KTM's WP AER forks' pressure each and every time you hit the track. Do, however, bleed both of the air screws on the top of of the forks, but be gentle with the air side screw. (Read: "Don't mess with the air side screw or you'll screw up your suspension."

1975 Honda CB400F Cafe' Racer Built by Tech-Care
That's Dave (#31) talking to his daughter, Heather, in the starting gate at the Vet World Championships at Glen Helen Raceway in California. Picture was published in the February 2017 issue of Motocross Action magazine. A larger version of the picture is included below.
Honda has introduced the latest version of race-winning CRF450R and introduced the new CRF450RX, an off-road oriented race bike based on the R model. Both are all new for 2017 with features designed to push each to the front of the pack.
∙ The new Unicam engine with a straight downdraft air intake produces increased power and torque across the rev range.
∙ Due to customer feedback, the SFF (Separate Functioning Forks) have been replaced by coil spring Showa 49 mm A-Kit forks with a less complicated adjuster on the top of the tubes. No air! (While Dave really liked the SFF set-up and thought they made for a better handling motocrosser, he thinks the new spring A-Kit forks are going to work better for a lot of riders.)
∙ A lighter swingarm assembly and aluminum chassis lowers the center of gravity and reduces weight thereby offsetting the additional weight of the spring forks. The titanium gas tank helps reduce weight, too!
Dave is really excited about the new CRF450R and CRF450RX models. So excited that he thinks either one could be bike of the year. Stay tuned to see if Dave’s prognostication turns out to be correct!
We have quality certified technicians to rebuild and re-valve your new SFF air forks! We have all the tools and expertise needed to complete the job. Bring us your bike for us to give it the Tech-Care touch and land you a spot on the podium! Call us at (248) 666-4651 for more details.
